We know that everyone is facing difficulties nowadays; however, we wanted to help the most affected ones, starting from our school’s students.
These students are running out of physiological needs which are threatening their existence. For essential needs, we are talking about food, personal hygiene stuff and medical kits for example. They are struggling with their day by day because most of them lost their jobs and some others lost their sponsorships.
Through the past few weeks, the seminary received so many emails from students explaining their difficult situations, asking not only for tuition deferments but also assistance in meeting their basic needs. The staff and faculty members could not stand with the arms crossed before this growing issue.
So according to God's will WTS thoroughly started planning and developing different ways to support them. Faculty and staff had been working hard gathering information about the main needs of the most overwhelmed students by the pandemic and based on that data different projects are coming alive.
This campaign is part of a supporting plan to give a helping hand by providing basic needs’ supplies, such as food, medical kits, and personal hygiene stuff. The Seminary is monitoring this growing need and is prepared to continue to support the students. We recognize this need is huge and believe that nobody should be without these kinds of basic supplies.
If you finished reading this story is because you had a hunch in your heart and you felt connected to it for some reason, and we truly believe that you have the means to take action as we did. You are welcome to participate in this touching act of kindness during this hard time. No dollar amount is too small.
100% of donations (less 2.9% and $0.30 per donation transaction fee) will go directly to students as physiological supplies: - Non-perishable food. Ex: canned food, powdered food, and dried food - Toilet paper - Sanitizer - Masks - Basic medical supplies
This fund would complement, not replace government funding, and it may not be used for other expenses.
Thank you for your warm consideration.
