Painted Pink Inc. is an Atlanta based 501(c)3 non-profit organization that raises awareness about breast health including cancer, the importance of taking preventative measures, and funds for local cancer patients at Emory Winship Cancer Institute as well as Facing our Risk of Cancer Empowered – Atlanta Network. Founded in 2014, the organization’s mission is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of millenial women by supporting and providing wellness using breast health programs that provide education, empowerment and survivor support. The organization provides a unique opportunity to educate millennials about the benefits of breast health and healthy lifestyle choices through organic products, nutrition, genetic counseling and regular physical activity.Each year in October, Painted Pink hosts a Breast Cancer Bruncheon that features local breast cancer survivors as guest speakers, local business sponsors. Our fifth annual bruncheon will be held in October 6, 2018. During the program, millennial survivors will share their compelling testimonies, nutritionists will educate guests on healthier food options, and guests will also hear from local physicians.
Funds raised by Painted Pink are utilized in these ways:
(1) Survivor kits for local cancer care center
(2) Financial assistance for local breast cancer patients
(3) Baby showers for expecting mothers undergoing treatment
(4) Financial support for the bruncheon
(5) Reserve fund for future needs, such as family members and caregivers following loss of Painted Pink angels.
Local Clinic Partnerships include Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, Atlanta Breast Care and Grady Hospital.
