I have served on the Board of Directors of the Queens Community House (QCH) for almost four years. I am proud of the important work this organization does to provide a broad network of services to borough residents of all ages, while supporting the viability of neighborhoods and the borough as a whole.
I am raising money to support QCH from now until “Giving Tuesday” on November 27th. Please help us celebrate the spirit of giving, and raise funds that will enable us to continue our mission.
I usually run a marathon to raise funds for QCH, but I am injured and unable to do so this year. However, I hope that you will still demonstrate your support by making a contribution to this organization that truly opens its doors to the borough.
Dollars raised will go towards serving over 20,000 children, youth, families, and older adults every year, who take part in our 40 programs across 25 sites in Queens. Some examples of these services include pre-k, after school youth programs, legal services for immigrants, meals for seniors, and family homeless prevention services.
No amount is too small. Your contribution is tax deductible as well.
