The people of St. Francis Episcopal Parish and Epiphany Community Center live out the promises made at baptism in the Episcopal tradition: to strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being. We live these promises out through words, actions, worship, and through every initiative we take to resist and respond to increasing threats of homelessness among families in Baltimore County.
It is time to ensure that our facilities communicate the respect that we hold for all people. Making entrances and exits more accessible and welcoming, renovating bathrooms to accommodate all people, and refreshing our gathering spaces with attractive, durable, easy-to-clean-and-maintain materials are some of the renovations already begun with seed money from funders. With your individual contributions added to that amount, we can ensure that these renovations are completed and fully able to meet the current needs of our community and those we serve.
Through a generous matching funding opportunity provided by the Jessie Ball duPont Fund, individual donations of up to $500 to this fundraising campaign through this GoFundMe platform will be matched dollar for dollar up to $25,000! And there's no limit to how many individual donations you can give. The matching campaign runs until the end of this year so please choose to make a one time donation instead of monthly. Thank you for your contribution, with your help, we can raise an additional $50,000 to create welcoming and safe spaces for all!
