This year I am running the B.A.A 5k on April 13, 2019! This will be my first BAA 5k but my second BAA race in the past 2 years! My love for running has grown immensely since I began running races in 2012. In June 2017, I ran the BAA 10k for Brigham & Women's Hospital and it was truly a life changing experience running for a special cause. This go around, I am running again for Brigham and the Stepping Strong Center. Although this cause doesn't affect me personally, I am proud to be a member of this team and am honored to be able to raise money to advance Brigham and Women's Hospitals commitment to transforming trauma care for countless survivors and their families. This April, I run for all of the Boston Marathon bombing victims and for the health care professionals who worked endlessly to save the lives of those affected and get these people back to living their daily lives. I am super excited to be running alongside my BAA running partner for the second time, Meghan O'Donnell! Cannot wait!
Some facts about this organization: In less than five years, the Stepping Strong Center has raised more than $14 million to turn tragedy into hope for civilians and military heroes worldwide who suffer from devastating traumatic injuries and events. But much more needs to be done.
Thank you in advance for your donation, any amount can make a difference.
