For the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of working with and supporting Good Shepherd Community Care, one of the most trusted health care organizations in Greater Boston focusing on hospice and palliative care. Good Shepherd provided end-of-life hospice care and relief for my father in the last six months of his battle with pancreatic cancer. For the past 40 years, their mission has been to help patients and their families live the best possible life every day, despite their illness. As the 1st hospice in Massachusetts and as a non-sectarian, not-for-profit organization, they need and deserve your donation.
On April 15th, I will be running the 2019 Boston Marathon to raise money and awareness for this wonderful organization. Although Good Shepherd does receive insurance reimbursement for some of its services, this reimbursement does not fully meet the expenses that make Good Shepherd's care so special. To continue to be the caring, comforting presence Greater Boston needs, Good Shepherd depends on the support of its community.
Every contribution provides support to those facing their own death or the death of a loved one. Every expression of caring is deeply appreciated. Please help me reach my goal of $10,000 by donating today!
Thank you again for your support.
