This week (October 1-5), I am participating in The Junior League of Phoenix’s Little Black Dress Initiative, a campaign to raise awareness of the issue of health limits in Arizona. In our state, food insecurity affects almost one in six. And on the flip side, obesity rates have skyrocketed in the past 20 years. It’s clear: health and nutrition must become a priority.
The funds raised from this campaign will go to support the Junior League of Phoenix’s focus of Building a Healthy Arizona. The dollars we raise funds our limit-defying programs, including ROCKETS, Kids in the Kitchen, United Way Ending Hunger in the Classroom, and Kids Cook with Heart at Halle Heart Children’s Museum.
I hope you will support me in this initiative by making a donation to the JLP’s Little Black Dress Initiative. Any amount will have a direct impact. Thank you for your time and consideration!
