The 7th Annual PK5K will not be an in-person footrace, but a remote Fundraiser. Instead of the goal to run/walk 5k, the goal will be to work together to raise $5k for Stein Hospice.
The PK5K was established to honor the memory our mother, Patricia King Munn. During her lifetime, Patricia was a dedicated volunteer. She used her time and talents to help others. She was an inductee into the Ottawa County Senior Hall of Fame in acknowledgement of her efforts. Stein Hospice was an organization that Patricia admired, and she considered the staff to be ‘Angels.’ This knowledge provided our mother and family such a degree of peace when she needed the services herself to complete her journey. Our family created the PK5K to preserve our mother’s legacy and to support the continued good work of Stein Hospice. Since the PK5K’s inception, Stein has continued to step in to provide care to family, friends, and acquaintances.
We hope that all who have been touched by the care and compassion of Stein Hospice services will join us in making this year’s PK5K Remote Fundraiser successful.
A special thank you to Lakeside Chautauqua for allowing us to hold this event in years past and the community's endless suppport.
