On May 5, #GivingTuesdayNow DogsBite.org will be fundraising for "Staying the course during Covid-19." We need your help to ensure that our many research projects continue. Our GoFundMe campaign runs the full day of May 5.
Did you know?
Did you know that DogsBite was requested to provide comments to the Department of Transportation about pit bulls flying in the cabin by a major airline and that our information was central to some of the comments made by airlines?
Did you know that DogsBite has written nearly 10 special reports about fake service and support dogs in airline cabins since the summer of 2017? We dive deep in these reports. On average, each report is about 3,000 words in length!
Did you know that fatal dog maulings did not "suddenly stop" due to Covid-19? Instead, media reports of them have sharply fallen. Trust that we are working extra-overtime to ensure there will not be a significant undercount in 2020.
Did you know that between January and March our cause accomplished more than in multiple years combined? In January, DOT began seeking comments on pit bulls, in February the mayor of Denver vetoed a repeal of their pit bull ban.
Finally, did you know that DogsBite has a GoFundMe Charity page? You can donate directly to DogsBite.org or start your own GoFundMe campaign for our nonprofit at any time. Pass the word about our new GoFundMe Charity page!
Help us stay the course!
During this unprecedented time of Covid-19, when dog bites are tripling across the country, we need your help to ensure that our long-term research projects continue. On this global giving day, no amount of giving is too little!
PS. Remember. One public health crisis being interrupted by a much larger public health crisis does not remove the first. It just adds to it!
