SUPPORT THE MOST VULNERABLE IN ATLANTA - FROM THE SAFETY OF YOUR OWN HOME!
At ZPC, there is no higher priority than the safety and well-being of our residents, staff, and volunteers. During these challenging times, we continue to provide critical support to couples transitioning from homelessness to self-sufficiency. Currently, our immediate focus is on providing safe shelter, food, and basic needs services to the homeless couples we serve. This means that we are providing 24-hour staffing and services to ensure that our residents have a secure and stable place to shelter during this unprecedented situation. Residents are pitching in to keep the Center sanitized and clean. We have limited our volunteer services to evening meal drop-off only. As a result our immediate priorities are:
- Providing breakfast and lunch to residents
- Having adequate safety and wellness supplies (toilet paper, Lysol, hand sanitizer, etc.)
- Ensuring 24-hour staffing of our facility
We recognize that this is a challenging time for all of us. We are all seeking ways to come together as a community to encourage and support each other. For us to continue to provide the services needed, financial donations are still the best way to help. They allow us to be flexible in the services we provide and to meet the essential needs of those we serve. The money we spend on food for our residents will also help support the local Atlanta economy.
