Beta Theta Pi is hosting its annual Spring philanthropy event on April 16th, Stand Up Against Cancer. The event is a stand-up comedy show that raises money for the American Cancer Society, featuring Quinnipiac’s most hilarious personalities.
Stand-up comedy remains an unexplored outlet of expression and understanding for many people - performers and audience alike. The event's comedians must ethically navigate their routine while still delivering jokes that'll crack their audience up. The crowd should walk away with a not only a heightened awareness of cancer, but of how comedy can be used to come to terms with sensitive topics.
At the end of the show, we’ll present representatives from the American Cancer Society with a check for the amount of money that the event raised, and we hope you will consider contributing to it.
Thank you for helping us Stand Up Against Cancer.
