St. Mary School is in the midst of a capital campaign to fund a renovation and addition of St. Mary School. The current school was constructed 35 years ago and little has been done to update and enhance facilities. Over the last 35 years, St. Mary School has experienced growth and has continued to excel in providing a quality choice in education. The current facilities will be completely renovated including expanded handicap accessible restrooms. New space will be added to the school to bring all 180 students under one room for security and cohesion. Presently, students walk outside school to another unsecured building for library and for music class. This building project will enable students to remain in one secure building throughout the school day. The addition will include the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Lab, the library and a resource room.
The mission of Saint Mary School is to provide a Catholic education in a Christ-centered environment which enables students to attain religious and academic excellence. Saint Mary’s purpose is to be a welcoming place, providing for everyone. To meet and serve the needs of students, teachers and families, there is a need to enhance buildings. This project is important as St. Mary's ensures facilities will remain strong and usable for decades to come. The school is known for being very good stewards of resources and resources. The work of this building project will be felt for many decades.
