The staff members of St. Mark’s Lutheran School have a long-standing tradition of raising funds for breast cancer research. We honor the beloved and respected women on our staff and the parents of our students who have been afflicted with cancer. Each year, staff members may contribute to our fundraising and, in return, they are allowed to wear denim that workday. Staff members are also encouraged to wear a white or pink top so that they stand out on campus. Over the years, we’ve encouraged our 500 + students to also wear a pink/white top to stand in solidarity with our staff and our fundraising. We hope that by our fundraising, our students are aware of the importance of breast cancer research.
