We are in this together.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected so many of our lives in various ways. Loss, financial hardships, illness/fear of illness are experiences being felt across our nation, in homes and businesses.
At Southern Rhode Island Volunteers, we have been affected as well. Through the support of local businesses, volunteers and donors we have been able to continue to act on the commitment we made to support a healthy, active life for all, especially older individuals. Our purpose has been and always will be, to provide health care access, nutrition support and alleviation of isolation services to frail elderly individuals and other adults in need of independent aging help to meet the goal of aging-in-place.
Today we humbly ask for donations to continue to provide grocery shopping/ pharmacy pick up and drop off, meals on wheels delivery and non sick doctor appointments to older individuals as well as people with compromised immune systems.
