Since 2016, Reel Start has introduced career opportunities in film and television to over 75 young people from BIPOC and other underrepresented communities.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, our classroom pivoted to a virtual program. This allowed the students and industry volunteers to collaborate on the program's first animated short.
This virtual program was a big success! However, we need your help to guarantee that we can continue to provide this unique and special opportunity to a new group of students in the coming school year.
$25 Will provide a month of braoadband Internet to a Reel Start Student

$15,000 Will cover the production of our next student film
