United Way of Forsyth County believes that all children should have a safe place to spend their summer. Currently, in our Place Matters Neighborhoods there are 10 children who cannot afford to attend camp this summer and may not otherwise have a place to spend their day. Through United Way, a generous supporter and donor has agreed to cover half of the cost for these children to attend a United Way Partner Agency summer camp in a safe, caring environment designed to maximize enrichment, fellowship, and enjoyment. We need your help to raise the remaining funds to ensure these children have a meaningful summer.
Through your donation these children will have access to daily programs centered around fun, interactive academics with access to computer labs and smart boards led by trained staff, swimming lessons at Winston-Salem State University, field trips to the library, Nature Science Center, bowling, skating, and other enriching activities. They will also receive daily meals including lunches and two snacks.
Donate today, Join the Fight, and help these children Live United!
