I’m not at my fundraising goal yet! If you are interested in donating please know that every dollar can make a difference. This fundraiser doesn’t go to my travel, it goes directly to the medical supplies we need to save lives! If you are interested, here’s what your donation supplies:
$10.00-Vaccines for one dog or cat
$25.00-Treat one dog for life-threatening tick-borne illness.
$35.00-Anesthetic and surgery supplies to provide spay/neuter for one dog / cat
$75.00-Life-saving parvovirus treatment for one puppy
$100.00-Spay/Neuter, vaccination and wellness care for one dog or cat
$250.00-Emergency surgery and aftercare for one seriously injured dog or cat
RAVS has been an integral part of my veterinary education. It’s where I learned how to spay cats and dogs, learned client communication and client education, and where I’m excited to learn more about tick borne diseases. This also happens to be my first trip to North Dakota! This is why I have no problem reaching out to my friends and family to fundraise. This is an organization I believe in.
Thanks so much!

In May of 2019, RAVS staff and volunteers will travel to the Spirit Lake Dakota Sioux Reservation in east central North Dakota and south to the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation to serve communities in both North and South Dakota. The team of roughly 30 veterinary students and 15 professional volunteers will offer free spay/ neuter and wellness care to more than 1,000 animals in these remotes communities where regular veterinary care is not available. In addition to wellness services, RAVS’ volunteers will care for animals with a wide range of health concerns including puppies suffering from parvovirus and distemper infections and older animals suffering from multiple infirmities. We will help animals with old traumatic injuries and festering wounds, returning them to a happier life with their family. While providing this care, our volunteers and staff will be educating the family on animal care and public health, helping to make the community a better place for the animals and the people of Spirit Lake and Standing Rock. http://www.spiritlakenation.com/ https://www.standingrock.org/content/visit-us
