Boston Marathon 2020
I am so excited to be back for round two and praying for better weather than 2018!!
I am grateful for the opportunity to run the Boston Marathon for the 2nd time and to support Special Olympics MA again this marathon season.
Since I last ran for SOMA, I was lucky enough to bring my students to a Special Olympics event last school year. My school’s program for students with autism, grades pre-k to 4th grade attended the Lawrence Day Games at Lawrence High school. I was able to witness first-hand the impact your donations have on children and the experiences my students were able to have thanks to all of you. The smiles on the kids faces and the amount of cheering and inclusion happening, honestly made me so grateful that I had and continue to have the opportunity to support such an amazing organization.
Please consider making a donation to not only help support events like the one I have been able to attend with my students, but to also support Special Olympics MA overall mission.
Help me make it to the finish line, by making a donation today!!!
SPECIAL OLYMPICS MA MISSION: To provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, prepare for entry into school and community programs, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
