Boston 2020 is about redemption for me. After dropping from the race in 2017, experiencing personal heart ache in 2018, and giving birth to our baby girl in 2019, I’m ready to run 26.2.
This will be my 4th, and likely final, attempt at running the iconic 26.2 course from Hopkinton to Boston. I couldn’t be more excited to run on behalf of Special Olympics Massachusetts (SOMA).
As a newly appointed Board Member, I’m thrilled to spread our message of inclusion. SOMA is changing the way people with intellectual disabilities are seen in the world through sport. Not only are the athletes competing in Olympic type sports, engaging with schools and local communities, but they’re learning transferrable skills off the playing field.
Please join me in supporting this movement of inclusion by donating to Special Olympics Massachusetts.
