Spaulding’s community has mobilized to address the COVID-19 pandemic with two main priorities: keep every patient safe and keep those who serve our patients safe. The 2020 Race for Rehab Team is doing its part to help.
Until June 1st, all funds raised by the Race for Rehab Team will support Spaulding’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund, created to ensure that the hospital continues to be adequately equipped to protect—and care for—the community, patients, staff and families. The Emergency Response Fund will provide extra support to Spaulding caregivers, who are providing invaluable services in an extraordinary time. They are being asked to work long hours and place themselves—as well as their families—at risk. Funds raised will be able to address an increasing variety of unanticipated needs, including things like hotel accommodations for staff if they—or a loved one—become infected.
As we prepare our facilities and transform space for a surge of complex COVID-19 patients requiring post-acute care, the entire Spaulding community thanks you for supporting our team and our mission.
Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital is proud to continue our partnership with the Boston Athletic Association as an Official Charity of the 2020 Boston Marathon.
