As many of you know, I have a very personal connection to Spaulding. Two years ago my wife Robin had a very severe stroke. The road to recovery has been a hard one, the team at Spaulding Framingham helped Robin in her recovery from the stroke. The therapists at Spaulding understands how tough the journey can be, and that in many cases it takes time and determination. The staff is compassionate and understands that sometimes you need a push and other days you just need to cry.
When Spaulding was named as a charity for Framingham, I was very excited. It was an opportunity to help the people who have been working with Robin for two years on her recovery.
Spaulding cares for more than 2,500 Framingham residents annually. Funds raised by Team Framingham will directly support the community programs and services provided by the Spaulding Framingham Outpatient Center.
