I am SO thrilled and honored to be running the 2020 Boston Marathon with team South Shore Health! We are so lucky to have such amazing health care in our backyard, and as someone who has been through a major health scare, I feel especially blessed. This foundation is extremely dear to my heart and I truly appreciate anything you can do to help. Thank you so much!
South Shore Health is a not-for-profit, that has relied on the support of our community to fulfill our mission of healing, caring and comforting. The South Shore Health Foundation is proud to be an official partner of John Hancock in the Marathon Non-Profit Program for the 2020 Boston Marathon®.
Members of Team South Shore Health have chosen to fundraise for either behavioral health and substance use disorder programs or cancer care services on the South Shore.
Each year, more than 1,000 new patients seek care at the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center in clinical affiliation with South Shore Hospital. Funds raised by our team support those patients.
The Grayken Center for Treatment at South Shore Health is a collection of substance use disorder (SUD) and behavioral health initiatives created to address the many needs of the communities we serve.
Over the last eight years, our Boston Marathon team has raised more than $1 million for care in our community.
