I'm thrilled to be running the 2020 Boston Marathon to raise money for the Grayken Cener for Treatment at South Shore Health!
The Grayken Center for Treatment is a collection of substance use disorder (SUD) and behavioral health initiatives created to address the many needs of the communities they serve.
Like so many people in the South Shore and beyond, behavioral health challenges and substance use disorder have impacted the lives of many of my close friends and family.
I'm dedicating my Boston Marathon run to the Weidner family - Chris, Annette, & Ashley - and running in memory of their daughter & sister Sara "Declan" Weidner, who lost her battle with addiction in January 2019 at the age of 22.
Thank you for helping me reach my goal of raising $12,000 for a program that is going to positively impact the lives of people in the South Shore.
