Thousands of youth aren't able to distance learn in the Fall because they lack access to needed technology. Help the SoLa I CAN Foundation bridge this gap and enable South LA youth to successfully distance learn this Fall.
For South LA, COVID-19 has impacted more than just health. South LA youth are struggling to keep up with academics and many have lost access to their teachers, carriculum and support.
With LA schools rellying on distance learning in the Fall, thousands of kids are likely going to be left behind.
We can change this. For $200 you can provide a child with a Chromebook and, more importantly, a way to stay on track with their education. Our goal is to provide Chromebook laptops to at least 400 underserved students.
The SoLa Tech Drive aims to bring education to South LA students displaced from their classrooms, and subsequently, their access to technology. As part of this initiative, SoLa I CAN has been hosting weekly technology learning experiences and will continue to expand these programs in the Fall.
Join us in supporting our students during this crisis and need.
