On behalf of the SMU's Asian Council community, I am deeply saddened to hear about the shooting incidents in Atlanta, Georgia. This should not happen. We have lost precious lives too soon. As a Korean immigrant and a human being, I am obligated to stand up and show support. And I am sure that my fellow Asians and allies at SMU feels the same too. We must unite together and become one voice during this hard time. Reading articles about the victims and their families breaks my heart. It also breaks my heart to see rising cases of hate crimes on Asian-Americans. When will this end? It WILL END if we come all together.
I am thankful to be a part of the SMU Asian Council & SMU because they have always supported me. Now, it's our turn to help others. Please donate any amount of money to support this cause . Let us show that the SMU community and beyond cares and fights for justice. %100 of donations will go to Asian American Resource Foundation IncBenefiting Charity (for the victim's families and resources for the Asian-American Community)
