Unexpected... at our 20 week anatomy scan we realized the tech was spending a lot of time looking at our baby girl's heart. What we later came to find out is that our sweet, tough girl will be working to overcome Tetralogy of Fallot very early in her life.
Already we have found comfort, strength, and support through the community of families who deal with Congential Heart Defects. The community is strong- which makes sense as CHD is the #1 defect found in birth (with different defects of varying degrees.)
We want to be apart of keeping that going and the community and support availble to CHD families.
Per their website: "The Pediatric Congenital Heart Association’s mission is to “Conquer Congenital Heart Disease.” We are accomplishing this through collaboration with patients, parents, providers, and partner organizations to improve quality and outcomes through CHD education, support, research and awareness."
Your support of our family through your support of the Pediatric Congenital Heart Association of Ohio is much appreciated from our your hearts to ours!
