We are Occupational Therapy (OT) students as San Jose State University. This year our cohort of students is participating in the 2020 St. Catherine Challenge. Together with other universities across the country we are raising money to fund research grants for OT students and practitioners.
Why is occupational therapy research important? We work with clients across the lifespan of in settings like hospitals, schools, clinics, mental health facilities, and home health. Occupational therapy students and practitioners who receive these grants from the St. Catherine Challenge are using them to find the most effective ways to help clients adapt and achieve independence. Your donation will help to build scientific evidence and improve the practice of occupational therapy to ensure the best possible therapy services for all future patients and clients.
We are partnered with the American Occupational Therapy Foundation and Pi Theta Epsilon National Honor Society, and our mission is to promote research and scholarship among OT students and practitioners.
