Thank you for your interest in the Seacoast Cancer Center 5K. This event is important to our team, because the proceeds stay right in our community, improving the lives of our patients and their families. They provide patients with specialized clothing that allows them to receive radiation or chemotherapy in style and with dignity. They support the Travlyn for Jaclyn Fund, which provides meaningful outings for cancer patients and their families, creating memories with those they care about most. Each patient selects an outing special to them (such as attending a sporting event or concert) and the fund takes care of the rest (tickets, transportation, meals, etc.). They also support the LIFE Program (Lifestyle Interventions for Everyone). This eight-week wellness course is geared to cancer survivors, their caregivers and anyone who wants to learn more about reducing their cancer risks. And there are many more examples, far more than this space permits us to list.
We get to see, up close, the difference this makes. We’d love for you to join our team and help make a difference as well.
