SIGNA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization composed of high school students who teach art to deaf and non-verbal children. With at least three years of art classes, the members of SIGNA are all experienced in art. The members learn sign language in order to communicate with the children. SIGNA endeavors to spread the chance of learning and experiencing art. Through sign language, deaf and non-verbal children can learn art more easily.
This organization was founded in hopes of helping deaf and non-verbal children pursue an education in art. SIGNA truly believes that art can be used to both heal and enlighten one's vitality.
