When disaster strikes, relief cannot wait.
Families need shelter, food, water, first aid and emotional support. They need the American Red Cross.
On average, every 24 hours the Red Cross responds to a disaster right here in San Diego and Imperial Counties, from devastating home fires to wildfires to floods and more. You can help us provide a Shelter of Hope to our neighbors in need.
Join us on May 1 through 8 as the Shelter of Hope travels throughout San Diego raising funds and awareness to support local Red Cross services. Your generosity will provide care and compassion for families in need throughout our region. Donations enable the Red Cross to respond quickly and efficiently whenever we’re needed to deliver help, hugs and hope — a Shelter of Hope.
