On Sunday night, October 11, 13 cars around Shelter KC were vandalized. Many of the cars belonged to homeless men already struggling to hang on to their last possession and means of transportation.
Eric, a member of Shelter KC's Discipleship Through Service Program, is one of the "lucky ones." His car sustained less damage than most. Most had shattered windshields and side windows that left them undrivable without repair. Although, these older cars may carry little monetary worth, they are of immeasurable value to the men who own them.
Will you consider making a donation to Shelter KC's Shattered Lives/Shattered Windshields fund so we can help our homeless neighbors get the necessary repairs needed to get to jobs, families, and critical services and programs they so desperately need?
