#SNACKGiveAndGo raises money and increase access to physical activity opportunities in Yamhill County.
5-2-1-0 is an important set of numbers in our healthy living curriculum. It's a tool that our college mentors teach to SNACK participants to help them remember some of our favorite daily guidelines for healthy living:
5: Eat 5 servings of veggies and fruit every day
2: Try keeping total screen time under 2 hours every day
1: Spend 1 hour or more getting physically active every day
0: Choose water over sugary beverages as much as you can - 0 sugary beverages each day is the goal!
Make SNACK Give And Go 5-2-1-0 extra special this year by donating $52.10 to celebrate the goal of following the 5-2-1-0 guide for healthy living!
The Student Nutrition and Activity Clinic for Kids (SNACK Program) provides free exercise opportunities and nutrition education to children and families in Yamhill County. We host fitness events and partner with local organizations to provide youth and families access to swimming, run/walk club, hiking, and more - at no cost to participants.
#SNACKGiveAndGo is a movement that represents the impact each person can make on their own well-being, and that of their loved ones, now and in the future. It’s a movement that reminds us we are not alone in our journey to healthy living, that together we can create opportunities to reach our goals. More info at snackprogram.org/give.
