I’m helping the American Cancer Society increase cancer screening rates. Even before the pandemic, screening rates weren’t high enough, and the pandemic has resulted in screenings being postponed. We don’t know the full extent of the decline due to the pandemic yet, but this much is clear: if we don’t act with sustained urgency to help people get screened, we could see a rise in cancer mortality rates in the coming years.
Many of you know that the pandemic also resulted in a 500+ day COVID beard for me. It is time to SHAVE this beard to SAVE more lives! Please consider donating to my campaign to increase awareness surrounding cancer screenings. Then, consider attending my Shave to Save event at Gee’s Clippers on August 21, 2021 at 10:00 AM, where I will be getting my beard shaved if I reach my fundraising goal!
Thank you for your support!
