Shattered Lives is a full-length, feature film that tells the story of a distracted driving accident and its impact on an entire community. The script focuses on a group of teenagers involved in a tragic accident and the aftermath, following the journey of one young man responsible for the deaths of many of his friends as he searches for redemption. The film explores the role of forgiveness in the lives of everyone in the community. The script will force the audience to consider how they can relate to the mistakes made by the characters in the film and how they can learn, grow and recover from the tragic consequences of a distracted driving accident. We are distributing a facilitated discussion guide for teachers to use with students after screening the film that will explore these issues in depth.
