Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign is working to bring together the community, state, and federal resources needed to end childhood hunger in the Montana by 2021. No Kid Hungry Montana’s work is producing real results by ensuring that more schools are offering breakfast programs in the classroom, summer meals are available at libraries and community sites in more areas across the state, and afterschool snacks and suppers are available for kids who need them. Our work directly builds capacity in local communities—resulting in an additional 1,236,000 school breakfast served across the state, 140,000 additional summer meals served, investments in mobile meal trucks to overcome transportation hurdles in the summer months, and 276,000 additional afterschool meals and snacks. The changes our team is implementing across Montana are having an immediate and long-lasting impact on our community by reaching kids with the food they need to learn and grow strong and healthy. Help us reach these goals!
