Dear friends and family,
When we asked Shan to make his birthday wishlist this year, he said he wanted to do more for orphan elephants in Africa.
About a year ago, he learned about elephant poaching and specifically about how young elephants where left alone after their parents were poached for their tusks. He wanted to do something to help the baby elephants and that is how we thought of the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya - a place he actually visited when he was a toddler. He saved up a few months of allowance + birthday money from last year and put it towards adopting his very own elephant, named Roho (seen in picture).
Please do not feel obliged to make a large donation - just a small token would mean so much to him towards his 9th birthday goal.
