I'm ready to ride.
On February 8 I'll be riding to raise funds and awareness with the Parkinson's Foundation.
For those of you that are unfamiliar with my story, I was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's Disease (YOPD) on July 24, 2015. Although, I have been a full-time educator for almost 30 years, I have also been a part-time spinning instructor (indoor cycling) for over 20 years. For both of the above reasons, I have chosen to take part in "Riding the Parkinson's Revolution!" In the almost 5 years since my diagnosis, I have asked for your support for one other fundraiser and together we realy made a difference. I think we can do it again! If you can afford to help or ride with me, please do. The Parkinson's Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to funding research in an effort to find a cure as well as paying programs which improve the lives of all of us with Parkinson's Disease. So, at the risk of being blunt, saddle up or pony up one more time. Together we can make a big difference!
Every dollar counts, thank you for your support! If you'd like to mail in a donation - download this form!
