OLE has teamed up with BGE’s Customer Relations Center to play for a positive change!
Last year, we raised the highest amount among all teams of $4,000 and SWB accomplished their mission of raising $15,000. This year we are hoping to claim first place again. All funds raised during the event support the organization's work providing newcomer refugee, asylee and immigrant youth in Baltimore access to after-school and summer educational programming that focus on helping participants integrate into the Baltimore community.

About SWB
Soccer Without Borders Baltimore is a nonprofit with a mission to use soccer as a tool for positive change, providing newcomer refugee, asylee, and immigrant youth a toolkit to overcome obstacles to growth, inclusion, and personal success. SWB Baltimore provides year-round programming to newcomer youth with an emphasis on academic support and mentorship. SWB Baltimore works with youth in middle and high school. In addition to the challenges of adolescence and the risks associated with living and going to school in a high-poverty urban environment, SWB youth face the added obstacles of not speaking the language fluently, social isolation and bullying, new cultural norms and expectations, and economic pressures. SWB provides an avenue for positive engagement, allowing participants to form strong, positive relationships with peers and caring adults, providing academic and language support, and providing youth with an opportunity for safe play. Small Goals Big Change is a small-sided co-ed soccer tournament to raise funds for SWB programming in Baltimore. All funds go toward SWB's free, year-round programs.
