On March 14th, Jumpstart will celebrate the power of the written word at our Scribbles to Novels gala in San Francisco. This annual event underscores the importance of early literacy development in young children and reinforces our critical vision — to work toward the day every child enters kindergarten prepared to succeed.
Last year, 250 advocates showed their support for Jumpstart, raising over $400,000 for Jumpstart programs in the San Francisco Bay Area.

$10 donation enables Jumpstart to purchase 1 book for a child in Jumpstart's program
$50 donation enables Jumpstart to purchase books for 5 children in Jumpstart's program

$500 donation underwrites the cost of books and activities for two classrooms
$1,000 donation sponsors a child for one semester of Jumpstart
