These seven kittens came from a feral colony when they were just a few days old. They were born a few weeks after the initial stay at home order was issued by the governor of CA. Animal shelters closed their doors to the intake of animals, placing the physical and financial responsibility of animal rescue solely on the shoulders of independent rescue organizations. This, of course, stretched us thin as the fosters, volunteers and owners of Furiends Forever all lost their jobs because of Covid.
These kittens are now 3 and a half months old and still require substantial care to get ready for adoption into forever homes! We know times are tough with Covid and our rescue has been hit really hard because of it. We really need your help to get these kittens ready for adoption.
Can you please help us? We would like to get them into the vet within the next week or two. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
