Guess what y'all? I'm back at it again! After saying that I was going to sit this year out I got that running itch and decided that I had to run the half marathon to support my fellows and PULSE!
I've had the pleasure of working with PULSE for two years now. My time has largely been spent coordinating programming to help my 32 fellows grow and develop into the next generation of nonprofit leaders. I'm undertaking this half-marathon challenge to push myself and to support my fellows. I'm inviting you to help support me and challenge me as I train to run and on race day on May 3rd, 2020!
Why should you support me as I run?
Good question! I'm pushing myself to get back into my old running shape. My personal goal going into this half-marathon is to run it in the same outfit I wore for my first half six years and quite a few lbs ago.
How can you support me?
Another great question! By donating to this fundraiser you will push me to get out and log training miles as well as directly supporting my 32 fellows! For every $10 donated I commit to running a mile as I train. What that means is the more you donate the more I have to run!
How can you hold me accountable?
Geez, you're crushing it with these questions! I'll be posting regular updates with running routes as I train. Training runs will be dedicated to specific donors to keep up my end of the bargan!
