This year has been difficult for many in our community. Covid has caused many to be furloughed or lose their jobs, students have spent much of the year in eLearning and families are struggling to make ends meet.
Through a partnership with local neighborhood associations, community partners and local businesses we are looking to raise $6,000 total to support families at James A. Garfield School 31 and SENSE Charter School. These funds will be split between the schools and used for their holiday assistance programs in addition to stocking their pantries for the winter.
All donations are tax deductible thanks to the Bates-Hendricks Neighborhood Association. This campaign will run from November 2nd to December 4th at 11pm.
