Hello Family & Friends!
As you may have heard, I have picked up a bad habit of running (shuffling) marathons lately. Blame my wonderful British friend Fiona. I am in the process of completing the majors (London, New York, Tokyo, and Berlin down - Chicago and Boston to go), and this year I am taking on an additional challenge to mark my 40th.
Every year, BlackRock sends a team of runners to Lewa Nature Conservancy to run the Tusk Marathon in support of the Tusk Trusts, a U.K.-based charity that partners with successful local organizations to scale innovative conservation programs. I made the team this year and will be running the full marathon - at altitude.
Two great pieces of news:
1) Tusk’s projects are playing a critical role in the survival of Cheetah, Chimpanzee, Eastern Lowland and Mountain Gorillas, Painted Dog, Grevy’s Zebra, Giant Sable, Cape Vulture, Crowned Sifaka, Hawksbill Turtle, and many more.
2) My father has agreed to join as a specator - so you can expect a full and funny social media blitz of Zilla on safari!
Grateful for any support you might provide and look forward to sending updates to all!
With love and thanks,
