Many of you know of my involvement over the past 14 years with Seeds and its youth-focused conflict resolution work. Since 1993, Seeds has been a pioneer in the field of youth leadership. Our network boasts nearly 7,000 alumni, many of whom are now in their professional years and increasingly reaching positions of influence, working toward economic, social, and political change in and between their communities.
Now I’d like to introduce you to our newest chapter in the pursuit of social innovation and conflict transformation – GATHER, an initiative focused on accelerating the social, economic, and political impact of our oldest alumni and changemakers. We invest in the work and ideas of our alumni and other young leaders across the Middle East, South Asia, Europe, and the United States who are skilled in dialogue across lines of conflict and are creating opportunities across diverse fields—business, nonprofit organizations, technology, education, arts and culture—to reshape communities divided by conflict. This initiative helps our young leaders get one step closer to positions of real impactful influence.
I'm hugely excited about the positive effect that GATHER can have and I'd be thrilled if you would support Seeds of Peace in this extraordinary and important initiative!
