Communities need small businesses. They provide so much more than economic benefits. Small businesses, owned by local entrepreneurs, provide the framework for healthy communities. I believe some of the issues that we face today in our communities is due to the lack of local small businesses. As a prior CPA working with small businesses, I know the amount of time and sacrifice required to run a small business. Now more than ever, the Association of Women’s Business Centers is a vital part of survival for our communities.
Funds raised through Shoe Guy fundraising and Wine Women & Shoes will support the Association of Women Business Centers. For 22 years, the Association of Women’s Business Centers has worked to support the network of Women’s Business Centers to secure economic justice by providing training, counseling and mentoring for existing and start-up businesses.
