You did it! Thank you to all who donated online and by mail. You stepped up during our Covid-19 Emergency Fund $10,000 match and helped us reach $25,655 toward our goal of $125,000. We are only part way there. As we continue to support our teachers, parents and children with at-home learning — now in our second month of temporary closure — our financial losses are increasing. We cannot do it without you! If you haven't yet made a donation, we hope you consider giving now. Every dollar helps us continue to provide compelling digital educational resources, inspire conservation, and keep our live animals fed and healthy.
There has never been a more critical time to make a contribution to Seacoast Science Center. Instead of welcoming 30,000 excited school children for their unforgettable spring field trip program , we are closed to all visitors because of the COVID-19 public health emergency.
It costs Seacoast Science Center over $125,000 every month we are closed.
Though our doors are closed, we are still hard at work. Our animals need to be cared for and the aquaria systems maintained. We are actively engaged in protecting and rescuing marine mammals across hundreds of miles of coast. And, our educators are providing new online resources to support at-home learning, empower children to investigate nature, and help families find respite from today’s challenges.
We are dedicated to continuing to support our community during this crisis, but it is hitting us hard.
We need your donation to get us through.
Please support the Seacoast Science Center Emergency Fund today. We have so much more important work to do.
