Three years ago our hearts were completely shattered as we lost such a significant member of our family way too soon, at the age of just 26. Scott was the most selfless and kind-hearted person with the brightest smile....Epilepsy had been a frustration that he had to face his entire life, cause unknown, like so many other diagnosis' of the condition. No family should ever have to endure this kind of life-shattering loss, and no life should ever be taken this soon.
This race has become such a special day for our family and friends. A day where we can fully celebrate my brother's life and honor the good man he was all while trying to bring awareness to Epilepsy and fundraise to help make even the slightest difference to those still battling every single day.
The support that my family has received from friends, acquaintances, and even complete strangers has been overwhelmingly beautiful and we can't thank everyone enough...It truly means the world to us. xo
