On Sunday, March 17, 2019, I will be running in the New York City Half Marathon.
As I train and embark on this journey, I wish to support a charity that means something to me...
I am continuing to support the Michael J. Fox Foundation For Parkinson's Research.

It has been over 4 years since I ran the streets of the 5 boroughs and conquered the NYC Marathon. Thanks to your support, I raised over $1,400 for Team Fox.
Thank you all for your contributions, it meant a lot to me and gave me extra motivation on race day.
Why I Run:
Running, lifting and exercising has tremendous value to me, partly because diseases like Parkinson's exist.
As I grew from a teenager to a young adult, I watched my grandfather battle Parkinson's. I saw how his symptoms progressed, and I admired how strong he was for fighting all those years. His strength in battling Parkinson's has helped shape my perseverance in times of struggle.
I have adopted a mentality of "do it because you can"; take on great physical challenges and conquer them, because I have a functioning body that is capable when challenged.
There is no cure for Parkinson's disease, but with adequate funding, intelligent minds and further research, a cure may be found.
Please join me in donating, and contribute to eliminating this disease.
Our challenges don't define us, our actions do. - Michael J. Fox
