Our spring high school conference is the crown jewel of our club—since 1963, it has been an opportunity for kids around the state to practice public speaking, leadership, and cooperation in a supportive and competitive environment. For the last fifteen years, AZMUN has extended its reach across the border to include high schools in Sonora, Mexico, with tremendous success. Our conference continues to be the only bilingual, binational high school conference in the country!
For many of our Mexican delegates, however, getting to Tucson can represent a financial hardship that is difficult to overcome. With this in mind, AZMUN has decided to begin offering an alumni scholarship specifically for Mexican delegates that will help cover the costs of attending this year’s conference on March 9th and 10th. Our hope is to make this incredible experience more accessible to all.
For as little as $25, you can cover the cost of a delegate’s meals at conference.
