We are excited to be a part of Break the Cycle 200 (BTC 200) again this year. My first year joining in to raise funds to support victims of human trafficking was in 2013. I participated in the 200 mile bike ride also in 2015 and 2017. Last summer my son Zach and I were a part of the run relay team, taking turns running to cover the 200 miles on foot. We had such an amazing experience being part of this charity, raising awareness regarding human trafficking, raising funds to fight this tragedy , and running to Okoboji, that we signed up to do it again!
Break the Cycle 200 uses epic one-day 200-mile athletic events to raise awareness and funds to break the cycle of human trafficking in the U.S. and SE Asia. During this event we will be challenged physically, emotionally and spiritually to the extreme. Our support dollars will help break the cycle of trafficking by rescuing victims, reducing the causative factors of trafficking, and restoring survivors of human trafficking.
Due to COVID-19 the event this year will be a local loop run event instead of the run to Okoboji. Please join Zach and I by supporting us financially. Your prayers are also appreciated for the victims we run for and for us as we run with our relay team on June 26.
